Alliance Redwoods Outdoor Education has been known for its exceptional quality and affordability since 1982.
We hope that our beautiful environment, quality classes, and exciting activities transform students by developing deeper connections with themselves, other students, and nature.
Our program offers a variety of environmental science classes, challenge course activities, and teambuilding. Our curriculum meets the California State Standards for Outdoor Education, and Spanish materials are available upon request.

Sample Menu
Meals
Our state-of-the-art dining hall can serve 400 people in 15 minutes from 4 separate lines. We can meet any dietary restriction, and our meals are both nutritious and delicious, a step above your typical “camp faire.”
What to Bring to Camp
All items should be clearly marked with camper’s name.
- Sack Lunch for Arrival Day
- Rain gear
- Water bottle for hikes
- Day pack
- Pen and pencil
- Small flashlight
- Alarm clock
- Shoes (2 pairs close-toed)
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow with case
- Toiletries and towels
- Warm jacket
- Weather-appropriate clothes
- Modest swimsuit (no two pieces, April 1st-October 1st ONLY)
- Plastic bag for wet clothes
- RECOMMENDED: Shower shoes
What Not To Bring to Camp
- Electronics (radios, video games, cell phones, MP3 players)
- Skateboards
- Any form of weaponry
- Cigarettes
- Clothing that advertises, promotes, or has overtone involving alcohol, tobacco, drugs, sex, violence, inapporpriate language, or gangs
Snacks including candy, sodas, cookies, etc. are not allowed in cabins and will be confiscated.
