New Executive Director!

June 2026

Dear Friends of Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds,

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in the ministry of Alliance Redwoods. Your partnership, your prayers, and your generosity make Alliance Redwoods a very special place where people meet the Creator through Creation!

Today, we are writing to share with you great news. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am delighted to announce that Dan Ferguson has been appointed the next Executive Director of Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds effective May 18, 2026.

Many of you have been privileged to know Dan in his role as ARCG’s Chief Operating Officer. Dan’s experience made him extremely suitable to serve as the Executive Director. During the recent appointment process one of the Trustees wrote: “Dan has strong references, the confidence of major donors, the recommendation of the executive committee, references from his current employees, and his work experience.” This comment nicely sums up how the directors and Board of Trustees feel about Dan as our next Executive Director.

It is also important to underscore that it was unanimous among the Board of Trustees members that Dan Ferguson was God’s appointee for the next Executive Director. This was also confirmed by the District Executive Committee of the Central Pacific District.

As we celebrate Dan’s appointment, we give thanks for our former Executive Director, Jim Blake. Jim provided 27 years of faithful service. We also want to acknowledge with thanks the engagement, support, and solid service of the ARCG directors during this past year of transition. Thanks, should also be offered for the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees who put in thousands of hours during the transition.

Please join me in praying and welcoming Dan into his new role. A more formal installation will take place in August.

We are so grateful for your partnership in the ministry of Alliance Redwoods anticipating what God will continue to do as lives are changed at camp.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees,

Wayne Spriggs

Chair
