Project Firewall - $25,000 Matching Grant Update

Here in Sonoma County, so many of us live in fear of suddenly having to evacuate our homes when a forest fire threatens. We may feel defenseless, but there is something we can do together. We can build a firewall at Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds. Thanks to donors like you, we raised the funds needed for a new chipper! And as of July 15th, we now have a $25,000 matching grant to provide the funds for heavy equipment and labor to remove dead branches and logs that could ignite like kindling on our dry forest floor. Please give a charitable, tax deductible gift to Alliance Redwoods’ Project Firewall, which could stop a fire in its tracks! Your gift to Project Firewall will help preserve our camp for youth and families and form a firewall to protect the surrounding community. And it will be matched so every dollar given doubles in value! Thank you for your gift!

A new, commercial-grade dishwasher will be an energy/water efficient machine that will serve for many years to come – a great investment in the future of Alliance Redwoods. Behind the scenes is our kitchen staff, working joyfully to serve. They are a hardworking team of heroes and your gift will make life a bit easier on them.

Your gift will contribute to much more than just a simple dishwashing machine. You’ll be a vital part of a much bigger vision – to help make Alliance Redwoods a place of renewal for everyone who crosses our bridge and enters the peaceful wonder of this place. We do this by demonstrating God’s love, and offering warm and excellent Christian hospitality.

Where Needed Most
Use my gift, where needed most, so that Alliance Redwoods can continue its mission of being a place of renewal where guests meet the Creator in His creation by providing “Service as Tall as Our Trees,” through which guests experience God’s love. (You may also make donations “In Memory of” or “In Honor of” here.)
Sonoma Treehouses

Help fund the next big social enterprise project at Alliance Redwoods! Sonoma Treehouse Adventures will be another profitable earned revenue stream supporting our camp ministry. And it will continue positioning Alliance as an innovator and leader in world-class eco-tourism in Sonoma County so we may be able to provide affordable Outdoor Education experiences for future generations.
