Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled trades person to assist in the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with regulations.
Qualifications:

Nestled in the heart of the magnificent California Redwoods, Alliance Redwoods hosts tens of thousands of visitors each year through our Camp and Conference Center, and Sonoma Zipline & Treehouse Adventures. This position will serve on a vibrant service-oriented team providing excellent dining experience for our guests.
Under direct supervision, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist guest in food service requests
- Maintain kitchen and dining facilities cleanliness
- Maintain hot and cold food service lines, which includes stocking, cleaning and shutting down
- Assist in the preparation of meals as needed
- Operate dish machine and cleanup of all utensils/pots/pans as needed
- Assist in storage and organization of food deliveries
- Assist in all dining room needs as directed by supervisor

Description of Duties
- Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks based on menu selection as directed by Food Service Director
- Supervise and oversee shifts and staff, ensuring quality preparation of all meals

As a dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You will work closely with the kitchen team to maintain an orderly and efficient kitchen space. You must be able to follow cleaning and sanitation guidelines while upholding the company’s high standards for hygiene and safety. As a crucial member of the kitchen team, you must be dependable, hard-working, and have a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans in a timely manner.
– Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and prep tables.
– Follow proper food handling practices to prevent cross-contamination and maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen.

This role is responsible for greeting and assisting guests, requires a passion for customer service and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. This is a part-time 20 hour per week position, which includes weekends.
Essential Duties
Fulfill consistent shifts at the Front Office:
- Greet and assist guests in the front office
- Answer phones and direct calls
- Open and/or close the office
- Communicate via radio to other departments
- Run gift store register, restock gift store, brew coffee
- Provide First Aid care to guests (First Aid/CPR/AED certification provided upon hire)
- May be required to respond to guest injuries, facilitate 911 calls and report incidents

Purpose Statement
Facilitate activities and challenge courses, support other ARCG teams, and instill a greater love for the outdoors as we strive to serve the needs of ARCG guests of all ages.
Duties may include the following based on schedule availability:
- Facilitate various programs including but not limited to Challenge Courses, Nature Hikes and Rec Activities.
- Instruct 5th – 8th grade students during the early Fall and late Spring in nature and ecology through classes that involve forest, water, and ecosystem ecology.
- Serve guests in Sonoma Zipline Adventures. This includes guiding, driving, and checking guests in.
- On-the-job training provided
Hours may also be available supporting other departments, such as:
- Serve guests in the Front Office/Coffee Central area. This includes answering phones, computer data entry, gift store duties, and maintaining the hospitality area.

Purpose Statement
The Experiences Manager provides leadership to the Experiences Team at Alliance Redwoods. In this position, the Manager leads the team that provides activities for guest groups, facilitates challenge course elements, leads corporate team building and innovates news experiences for guests. The Experiences Team also runs the Outdoor Education program at Alliance Redwood where students experience a learning environment in the outdoors, challenge course elements and other program activities during the school year. The manager is also responsible for recruiting, training, and developing Experiences staff while maintaining a professional, God-honoring culture.
Description of Duties
- Instruct and train staff in our outdoor education programs for public and Christian schools to facilitate students in nature and ecology through various outdoor education classes
- Engage in on-the-job training and workshops with other instructors.
- Train staff to facilitate various programs such as ropes course, low ropes elements, team building, lifeguarding, archery, canoeing/kayaking
- Innovate new experiences for guests and students
- Maintain the equipment and materials for all programs
- Provide activities and experiences for guest groups and corporate team building events.
- Support other departments including Accommodations/Housekeeping, Maintenance, Guest Services and Food Services.
- Model and reinforce ARCG Staff Values.
- Lead the Outdoor Education Program and supervise Experience staff according to ARCG Core Values.

Nestled in the heart of the California Redwoods, Alliance Redwoods Camp & Conference Grounds hosts thousands of guests each summer through church & non-profit retreats. We are currently hiring summer staff for our Summer Staff Program, which is focused on equipping leaders with the power of humility and wonder through community and creation through Leadership, Adventure, Service, and Training.
Candidates hired into the Summer Staff Program will reside at Camp for the duration of the program, and will rotate through various departments, carrying out a diverse set of responsibilities to support both our guests and the camp itself, and participate in various training and development opportunities.
What You Will Do:
- Facilitate high-ropes challenge courses (ziplines, giant swings, and climbing elements)
- Guiding adventure-sport activities (kayaking, archery, archery tag, hatchet and knife throwing)
- Lifeguarding
- Meet the needs of our guests and steward the grounds alongside the Accommodations and Maintenance teams.
- Prepare, host, serve and clean up meals with our Kitchen team.
- Serve our guests by assisting them at the gift store and answering questions with the Guest Services team.

Nestled off the coast of Northern California and deep in the Redwood forest, Sonoma Zipline Adventures is high adventure and completely unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. - Manage risk at all times, taking responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others
- Engage guests and staff with a humble and cooperative attitude

- Complete and pass a 6-day, 40-50 hour training week. Attendance is REQUIRED all day each day, no exceptions.
