Annual Benefits

Open Enrollment

Alliance Redwoods strives to prioritize the health and wellness of our staff and their families and is happy to announce some exciting changes taking place during this year’s Open Enrollment, which we anticipate will better serve our staff both now and in the future.  Open enrollment is the one time of year that eligible employees may modify their benefits elections outside of experiencing a qualifying event, so we encourage you to take the time to carefully consider your options and make the selections that are right for you.  All changes must be submitted by November 10th and are effective December 1, 2023.

Key Dates:

  • Personalized Benefits Rate Sheets Distributed – week of Oct 30th
  • In Person Open Enrollment Session – November 2nd at 11:30 AM
  • Benefit Elections Due – no later than Friday November 10th

Review the attached for highlights of benefits changes taking place this year.

Please note that the sheet is prepared to reflect costs of any currently enrolled dependents, if applicable. If you would like cost information for additional dependents not included, please contact Jim Goodrich.

Staff that enroll in either the Kaiser or Sutter Health High Deductible Health Plan option, will be eligible to contribute to a Healthcare Savings Account (HSA).  Contributing to an HSA allows employees to set aside earnings on a pre-tax basis, to be used towards qualified medical expenses, including their deductible and much more.

This year, the Employer Match will decrease from last year’s offering, such that ARCG will contribute $1.00 for every $1.00 that you contribute, up to a maximum of $100 per month.  This change will apply to any contributions made after December 1, 2023.  Employer matching contributions are immediately vested.

Check out the HSA Store to see the many different types of qualified expenses you can pay for using your HSA funds!
